General and Enduring Power of Attorney
A Power of Attorney gives authority for another person to sign on someone’s behalf in regard to financial matters such as selling property and assets, paying expenses, using money from a bank account and running a business. An Enduring Power of Attorney remains effective even when a person becomes incapacitated.
